Caregiver Heron Companions Lansdowne, PA 19050 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to care and the ability to work independently while following care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Medication reminders as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Engage clients in social and recreational activities that promote mental stimulation and physical well-being. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others. Ability to follow care plans accurately while being attentive to the individual needs of each client.
