Part Time Location- Lansdowne, Delaware County PA Schedule:

Wednesday 12pm-8pm, Sunday 12pm-8pm and Every Other Sat 12pm-8pm We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential care and support to individuals in their own home. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance their quality of life through personalized care plans. This role requires a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for those with diverse needs. The ideal candidate for this position must use their personal vehicle to transport the individuals to activities and the mileage will be reimbursed. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Uphold confidentiality and respect the dignity of each client at all times. Qualifications be 18 years of age or older have a current valid driver’s license possess a high school diploma or GED Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
