This role requires a blend of practical skills and emotional intelligence, ensuring that our clients feel safe, respected, and valued. Duties Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Assist with memory care for clients experiencing cognitive challenges, ensuring their safety and comfort. Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, reporting any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Offer patient observation to detect any changes in behavior or health status, ensuring timely intervention when needed. Help clients with mobility by assisting them in lifting or transferring safely. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences while promoting healthy eating habits. Provide companionship through engaging conversations and activities that promote mental stimulation. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to assist clients with physical tasks while ensuring their safety and comfort. Strong observational skills to monitor client health and well-being effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required for client assistance.
