The Behavioral Health Technician main duties will include:

  • Assisting our residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitoring and administering medication as needed
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to our residents
  • Facilitating recreational activities
  • Documenting and communicating any significant observations or incidents to the appropriate staff members alongside behavioral health adolescents.

. An ideal candidate has prior experience working as a Behavioral Technician and is capable of independently managing difficult situations in order to maintain the safety of both the residents and the environment.

Responsibilities:

Be able to work with behavioral health adolescents Be able to work with individuals who have serious mental illness or developmental disabilities. Be able to communicate with families and service providers. Develop trusting relationships with both the client and their immediate family so that the client can trust that their caregiver will support the decisions agreed upon between the caretaker and family. Be able to be flexible in response to changes in schedule, client and family needs, and other factors. Dispense medications.

$16.00 up to 17.00 per hour based on Experience Expected hours: 36 per week

12 hour shift 4 hour shift Day shift Holidays Night shift Overnight shift Rotating weekends Weekends as needed
