Summary We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of delivering tailored care that meets the unique needs of each individual. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Ensure clients’ safety and comfort while maintaining their dignity. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Help manage medications and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens. Support clients with memory care activities to promote cognitive engagement. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or home care preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and HIPAA regulations is essential. Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are required. Basic cooking skills and experience with meal preparation are beneficial.
