PCA/Caregiver Homecare Precision Palmyra, PA 17078 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including personal care homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients, particularly those with dementia or disabilities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a warm and trusting relationship. Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence and well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising staff. Support clients with memory care techniques tailored to their individual needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients with disabilities. Experience Previous experience in home care, direct support, or working in assisted living environments is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care practices and memory care strategies is highly desirable. Experience administering medications safely and effectively is a plus.
