We proudly serve Mercer, Lawrence, Venango, Crawford, and Butler counties in Pennsylvania. Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance to clients with daily living activities. Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate personnel. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Help clients engage in social activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients. Respect client rights and maintain confidentiality at all times. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature. Ability to perform patient observation effectively. Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus. Physical ability to assist clients with heavy lifting when necessary.
