Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Care Worker to join our team at The Wright Agency LLC. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients, enhancing their quality of life through personalized care and assistance in their daily activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Support clients with mobility and lifting as needed while ensuring their safety. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive stimulation and social interaction. Requirements Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred. Strong skills in patient care and assisting individuals with disabilities or elderly clients. Knowledge of memory care and dementia care practices is highly valued. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe. Ability to lift and assist clients safely as needed. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
