In Home Caregiver – Greenville PA CareGivers Plus Greenville, PA 16125 Opening for a part-time Caregivers/Direct Care Worker in the Greenville/Transfer area. Clients are seniors 65+ requiring ADL assistance to age at place at home. Clients are male and female so comfort in providing care to both male and females clients is a must. Visits are scheduled during regular day turn hours Monday-Friday. Schedules can be flexible and are created based on when YOU are available to work. Part-time to start but can build up to full time if desired. Average visit length is 2-3 hours at a time, more than one visit/client is usually combined each day, so a valid driver’s license and transportation is a must. Experince is prefered, but not required as training can be provided. Applicants with a TB test less than 1 year old can start sooner.

Responsibilities:

Caregivers/Direct Care Workers provide hands on personal care and housekeeping, assistance to elderly clients. This includes, but is not limited to: Dementia care experience is preferred, training available. Grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting, incontinence care, meal preparation, medication reminders. Light housekeeping, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and laundry. Ability to lift using safe management techniques. Ability to follow directions and work independently.
