Personal Care Aide, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the resident’s individual needs Assisting residents with eating and drinking such as meal and beverage selection, cueing for meal completion and/or hands on feeding. Assist residents in between meals with obtaining snacks and hydration throughout the day. Encourage resident participation in leisure activities provided for residents as described in activity calendar, social events, walking program or as needed to practice de-escalation techniques per resident’s support plan Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures Respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance, including telephone calls, and requests from family and friends, visitors, or other personnel What do I need for this role with Frederick Living ?
