Personal Assistant/Caregiver Silver Living Home Care, LLC Bangor, PA Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of long-term care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and preferences. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times. Support clients with memory care needs by implementing strategies that enhance cognitive function. Offer hospice care support as needed, providing comfort and compassion during end-of-life transitions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Skills Experience in long-term care settings is preferred. Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of medication protocols. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary requirements. Familiarity with home health practices and standards of care. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and recognize potential health concerns. Experience or training in memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
