Portland, PA 18351 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and memory care needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions. Support individuals with disabilities by promoting independence while respecting resident rights. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including tidying living spaces and assisting with household tasks. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Experience Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred but not required. Familiarity with working with individuals who have autism, memory care needs, or developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong observational skills to monitor client health and well-being effectively. Ability to cook and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences. A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the home environment.
