Position:

Direct Caregiver Responsibilities:

Assist individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency. Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support clients in household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Accompany individuals to appointments and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being. Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for clients, promoting social interactions and meaningful engagement. Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and maintain accurate medication records. Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or emotional conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications or training in caregiving or a related field is a plus. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and their families. Ability to handle various physical tasks and lift/move clients with mobility challenges. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
