Duties:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Engage in conversation and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas
• Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings, if needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in patient care or caregiving preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and techniques
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
• Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living facility protocols is beneficial
• Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques is desirable
• Experience in childcare or working with children is an asset
