This role requires a blend of personal care skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with people with disabilities. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health status. Help with mobility and physical exercises to enhance physical well-being. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the living space of clients. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition. Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred. Strong caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and attention to detail. Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Familiarity with home community care practices and principles of patient care. Experience in group homes or nursing homes is a plus.
