Direct Care Worker Lean On Us Private Duty Care LLC Greensburg, PA 15601 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and feeding. Support clients in maintaining their independence while respecting their rights and dignity. Monitor and document client health status and report any changes. Assist with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Implement conflict management strategies to address any issues that may arise during caregiving. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by maintaining hygiene standards. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and regulations related to assisted living or home care settings is a plus. Certification in First Aid is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and compassion. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
