Home Health Caregiver Cornerstone Caregiving Apollo, PA 15613 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including those with autism, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Duties Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client. Assist clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or community activities. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care progress and needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Skills Experience in patient care, particularly in long-term care settings or nursing homes. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and effective caregiving strategies for individuals with autism. Familiarity with developing care plans that address individual client needs. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Ability to cook healthy meals that cater to specific dietary requirements. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families. Proficiency in first aid techniques to ensure client safety during caregiving tasks.
