In Home Caregiver Gated Hearts llc Westmoreland City, PA 15692 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care for individuals in their own homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those with special needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Duties In this position, your responsibilities will include: Providing personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Supporting clients with mobility and transferring safely from one location to another. Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition. Offering companionship and engaging clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Monitoring and documenting vital signs as needed. Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment. Delivering specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory-related conditions. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Providing direct support in daily living activities tailored to each client’s unique needs. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Previous experience in senior care or home community care is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care and memory care techniques is a plus. Ability to perform patient care duties effectively while maintaining a respectful and compassionate demeanor. Experience in lifting and assisting clients safely is essential. Certification as a nurse or relevant caregiving training is advantageous but not mandatory.
