Job Overview:

• Seeking compassionate caregivers in Ligonier, PA .

Part-time or Full-time available. As a Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities or other special needs. Your role will involve providing patient care, assisting with daily activities, and promoting a safe and comfortable environment for our clients as well as companionship.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Implement behavior management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Engage clients in social activities and promote their overall well-being as well as provide safe companionship to promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Experience:

• Previous experience working in Home Health is preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality is preferred
• Familiarity with working in a healthcare or social work setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
