The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for the elderly population. This role requires a strong commitment to patient monitoring, companionship and overall care. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, exercise, safety supervision, meal preparation, prompting and mental cueing. Monitor changes in appetite and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Give medication reminders as instructed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Assist with transportation to appointments, social events, shopping or errands. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities tailored to their interests and abilities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at home or in care facilities. Document patient care activities accurately and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or home care is required. Knowledge of patient monitoring is essential. Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges. No lifting. Experience working with elderly individuals is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Monday-Friday:

$16.50/hour

Saturday-Sunday:
