In Home Caregiver Hearts of Kindness LLC Summerville, SC 29483 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, including working with individuals with disabilities, autism, and memory care needs. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with daily living activities and mobility support. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, or long-term care facilities is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration and patient observation techniques is essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A clean background check is required prior to employment. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory. Must be reliable, compassionate, and possess a strong work ethic.
