Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 3:00

PM Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to assist a 24-year-old female client with developmental disabilities. The client requires help with dressing, meal prep, showering, and needs constant supervision. She can communicate verbally but has the mental function of a 5-year-old.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with dressing, meal prep, and personal hygiene.
• Provide constant supervision and ensure safety.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities with the client.
• Maintain a structured routine for the client’s comfort.

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Comfortable with dogs in the home.
• Background check & drug test required.

Qualifications To be qualified as a Personal Care Aide you must: Be at least 18 years of age Pass a background (SLED) check Pass a drug test Be physically able to provide care to an adult with special needs Have a valid drivers license and insured transportation Benefits Axcess strives to maintain a positive work environment with telephone assistance from 8am until midnight 7 days a week for any issues that should arise.
