Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship through conversation, reading, games, or other activities the client enjoys Supervise the client to ensure safety in the home or care setting Assist with light household tasks such as tidying up, meal preparation, and laundry Accompany the client on walks, errands, or appointments as needed Offer emotional support and encouragement Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior to appropriate supervisors Follow care plans and agency guidelines Maintain confidentiality and respect the client’s privacy and dignity at all times

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in caregiving, sitting, or a related field is a plus Compassionate, patient, and reliable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and respond to the client’s needs Must pass background checks and meet any applicable state requirements

Working Conditions:

May involve long periods of sitting or standing Work is typically performed in the client’s home Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
