In Home Caregiver A Prime-Time Home Care Agency Eastover, SC 29044 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various healthcare settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, clinics, and geriatrics. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients, assisting them with daily activities while promoting their independence. Duties Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their quality of life. Monitor and record client health status, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans. Skills Experience in a medical-surgical setting or emergency medicine is preferred. Knowledge of geriatric care practices and principles. Familiarity with outpatient services and inpatient care protocols. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations typical of trauma centers. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
