Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide direct support to individuals with various needs, including those with autism
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean environment
• Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
• Lift and transfer clients safely when required
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients
• Provide first aid and emergency care as needed
• Support individuals in nursing homes or hospice care settings

Qualifications:

• Experience in caregiving, direct support, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of basic caregiving tasks and techniques
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs
• Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
