Personal Care Aide /Caregiver (M-F 9am-1pm or 4pm-7pm) or (S-S 9am-1pm) Midlands Choice Home Care, LLC 4300 N Main St, Columbia, SC 29203 Midlands Choice Home Care, LLC is looking for Caregivers/ Personal Care Aides to provide non-medical home care services to our clients in their home environment. The right candidate must have a positive attitude, be a good listener and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for individuals who share our mission to assist every client with excellent customer service while improving their quality of life, encouraging independence, and allowing them to be comfortable in their own homes. Starting Salary:

$9.00 to $13.00 per hour (Salary based off of previous work experience and education.)

Responsibilities :

Assist adults with activities of daily living. Assist adults with their personal hygiene, bathing and/ or dressing. Communicate effectively with patients, clients, family and friends. Document the interactions with patients in their files. Help clients with physical therapy exercises. Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are unable) Assist with daily errands. Perform light housekeeping duties when needed. Report any unusual incidents (Mandated Reporter). Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency. Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

Previous experience as a caregiver preferred Excellent time management skills Excellent communication and people skills

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and SLED background check 2-step TB test Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Evening shift Monday to Friday On call
