Nashville, TN 37214 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly for those with disabilities or special needs, and possess strong interpersonal skills. As a Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Assist clients with daily living activities to promote independence and dignity. Support individuals with disabilities or autism by implementing tailored care plans. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress. Document daily activities and any changes in client condition accurately. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Experience Previous experience in caregiving roles such as nursing home care or home community care is preferred. Familiarity with first aid practices and medication administration is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
