Goodlettsville, TN 37072 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves working with individuals who may have varying needs, including seniors, those with autism, and patients requiring specialized care such as dementia support. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring the health and safety of clients. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring clients safely when necessary. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols. Provide home care services tailored to individual client needs, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of senior care practices, dementia care techniques, and patient monitoring is highly desirable. Ability to assist individuals with autism and adapt communication styles accordingly. Strong observational skills to monitor client health and behavior effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards caregiving. Physical ability to lift clients as needed and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of application; training may be provided.
