Executive Director- Home Care BHC Healthcare Nashville, TN • Hybrid work BHC is seeking a focused and adaptable Executive Director to join our dynamic Home Care Leadership team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle a variety of tasks with precision. Responsible for ensuring services operate safely and efficiently within the requirements of the state and the agency, while providing and instilling excellent customer service to all clients, families, and staff. QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration preferred.
Licensure:
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience:
Home Care or Senior Care industry experience required.
Transportation :
Personal & reliable transportation. Valid and current auto insurance.
SKILLS:
Ability to lead and motivate teams while setting clear goals and providing direction. Experience with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to be flexible and work with minimal supervision or direction. Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee operations efficiently, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees, clients, and senior leadership. Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial reports, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. A focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction across all locations. Ability to adapt to changing business environments and adjust operations accordingly. Previous experience in operations management is required. proficient in all technology platforms and has ability to learn software programs quickly and efficiently
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with VP of Operations and senior leadership team to lead agency business plans, strategic growth plans, organizational structure, P&Ls and annual budgets. Manage agency budgets and profitability with full P&L responsibility. Oversee daily operations including managing and supporting office staff and their functions and field staff and their functions. Find and implement solutions to increase recruitment and employee retention/decrease turnover. Grow client hours, increase revenue and profitability, increased brand awareness within your market. Ensure all agencies are licensed and are in compliance with state and/or federal regulations and insurance requirements. Overcome key business challenges by building a cohesive and effective team. Coordinate and manage the day-to day operations of the agency including intake, scheduling, assessments, cost reporting, accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable management. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding caregivers to ensure they are successful in their positions. Oversee caregiver training to ensure it’s consistent with B Home Care’s procedures and state/federal requirements. Assist with forecasting hiring needs and managing the caregiver schedule, meeting the needs of the clients with the most viable caregiver. Work with team to anticipate possible gaps in the schedule and resourcefully/proactively find solutions so that all clients get the services desired. Maintain employment and client records to be audit ready at all times. Coach and provide feedback to team and/or corrective actions. Ensure staff are properly trained and prepared to perform their duties within policy, regulations, and the satisfaction of the client/family.
