Dickson, TN 37055 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with clients in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities, to deliver high-quality care tailored to each individual’s needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by offering direct support in daily tasks and activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring that all areas are tidy and free from hazards. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the client and yourself during transfers or mobility assistance. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation to promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Qualifications Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred; familiarity with dementia care is a plus. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
