Caregiver/Personal Assistant The Cannedy Family 131 Scarbrough Loop Road, Humboldt, TN 38343 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential support in a residential home care setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of the individual and home environmen. This role requires a strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to enhance the quality of life for the individual and his our care. Individual has a family and lives independent. Looking for someone who can work weekends and a few weekdays. Back up 2nd assistant during the week on sick days etc. Responsibilities Assist resident with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. Home maintenance and quality of lifestyle. Support social interactions and fostering a positive environment. Prepare nutritious meals while accommodating individual dietary needs and preferences. Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, respect, and privacy in all interactions. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for resident and family. Veteran is married, has handicapped vehicle, garden, pool etc. Individual will be envolved in assistance in daily activities.. Experience Previous experience in a nursing care and in home setting is preferred. Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing personal care services. Skills in CPR and first aid certification are advantageous. Experience in social work or caregiving roles is beneficial. Ability to administer medications as directed by individual and family. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on empathy and patience. Cooking skills for meal preparation that meets health standards. The ability problem solve and assist in maintaining home.
