Caregiver Home Health A Better Solution In Home Care Chattanooga Harrison, TN 37341 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and support necessary for their daily activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and nurturing environment, promoting independence while offering companionship and assistance. Duties Provide direct support to clients in personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in assisted living or group home settings. Support individuals with memory care needs by implementing appropriate care strategies tailored to their unique requirements. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the supervising staff. Experience Previous experience in direct support roles is preferred, particularly in senior care or personal care homes. Familiarity with assisted living environments or group homes is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. A compassionate nature and strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
