Caregiver Home Health A Better Solution In Home Care Chattanooga East Ridge, TN 37412 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in assisted living and home care settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient conditions. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the social well-being of residents. Ensure resident rights are upheld and respected at all times. Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring clients as necessary. Engage in patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or health status. Support clients with dementia care by employing appropriate techniques to manage symptoms effectively. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, home community care, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is beneficial. Strong understanding of resident rights and ethical caregiving practices. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Certification in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
