As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Help clients with mobility and lifting as necessary to ensure their safety. Assist with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events. Provide first aid when required and respond appropriately to emergencies. Requirements Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform basic first aid and monitor vital signs effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Physical ability to lift clients and assist them with mobility needs. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed. Certification in caregiving or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
