Helping Hearts is seeking reliable and dedicated Caretakers to join our team in Centerville, Tennessee. In this role, you will provide high-quality support to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the night shift. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, personal care, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Responsibilities:
Daily Care and Support:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming. Help clients with mobility, including walking, transferring, and repositioning, as per care plans. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in clients’ appearance, behavior, and health status. Provide companionship and emotional support.
Household and Meal Assistance:
Perform light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a comfortable living environment. Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel. Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines while handling patient information.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus. Ability to pass pre-employment physical (drug screening) and background checks. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient.
