Down Syndrome Caregiver/Home Heath Aide A Better Solution In Home Care Chattanooga Knoxville, TN 37916 Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of resident rights and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This role is essential in delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for clients in various settings, including home care, group homes, and memory care facilities. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of residents. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior. Support individuals with dementia or other memory-related conditions through engaging activities and direct support. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations while respecting resident rights. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans that meet each client’s needs. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or home health is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with dementia care, medication administration, and direct support techniques is advantageous. Experience working in a group home or memory care setting is a plus.
