Schedule:

7pm-7am, 3 days a week, days will rotate weekly Must pass criminal background check (no felonies, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions) and drug screen. The King’s Daughters’ School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. We are seeking Direct Care Assistants to care for students with intellectual disabilities and autism in a classroom and residential setting. CPR and Handle with Care training provided.

Minimum requirements:

At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism strongly preferred. Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders. Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, abuse, assault, neglect convictions).

Primary responsibilities:

Maintain a warm, family-or home-like environment. ADLs, social skills, behavior management. Ensure the classrooms or residential areas are left in a clean and orderly manner. Serious applicants please call 931-388-3810 and ask for HR. Drug-free workplace
