The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in care, particularly with experience in nursing homes or working with individuals with disabilities, including autism. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of those we serve, promoting independence while delivering personalized care. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to best practices in home community care. Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety at all times. Engage clients in social activities and therapeutic exercises to promote mental and physical well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a caregiving role is preferred. Familiarity with first aid practices and long-term care principles is an asset.
