Lead Caregiver-2nd shift 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 412 West 9th Street, Columbia, TN 38401 The King’s Daughters’ School is a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. We are seeking a Residential Lead Staff to work in a house with 8-12 clients. CPR certification provided. Full-time Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm $17/hr Minimum requirements: At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver’s license required 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred. Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders. Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, no abuse, assault or neglect convictions).
Primary responsibilities:
Maintain a warm, family-or home-like environment in a house of 8-12 clients. Be an example and train other staff in the residence. ADLs, social skills, behavior management. Ensure the residence is being left in a clean and orderly manner. Transport students as needed.
