Duties Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Monitor client health by observing changes in condition or behavior and reporting to appropriate personnel. Support clients with memory care needs through patience and understanding techniques. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily tasks and promote independence. Perform patient observation to ensure safety and well-being at all times. Skills Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care or patient care. Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols. Familiarity with memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive decline. Strong observational skills to identify changes in client health or behavior promptly. CPR certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
