Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Caretakers to join us at Helping Hearts . This role is essential in providing high-quality support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, personal care, and emotional support.
Responsibilities:
Daily Care and Support Assist residents with activities and daily living activities (ADL’s) including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming Help residents with mobility, including walking, transferring, and repositioning, per care plans Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents’ appearance, behavior, and health status Provide companionship and emotional support Household and Meal assistance Light housekeeping and laundry assistance to ensure a comfortable living environment for residents Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed Ensure compliance with HIPPA guidelines while handling patient information
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Valid Drivers Licence Previous experience in Medication Assistance is preferred Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus Ability to pass pre-employment physical(drug screening) and background checks Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient
