Seniors Helping Seniors is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Rutherford Coounty. Our mission is to provide seniors with the support and assistance they need to continue living independently and happily in their own homes. As a caregiver with Seniors Helping Seniors, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will be responsible for providing a range of non-medical services, including assistance with daily activities, transportation, and companionship. To be successful in this role, you should have a caring and patient personality, as well as the ability to work independently. Experience in the healthcare or social services industry is a plus, but not required. We welcome applicants of all ages and backgrounds, and encourage seniors to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management
- Offer transportation to appointments and errands as needed
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients, such as reading, playing games, and going for walks
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and meal preparation
- Communicate with clients’ families and healthcare providers as needed
- Follow care plans and document care provided
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
