The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those we serve while ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing, incontinent care as needed, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, medication reminders. Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices such as a hoyer lift if needed. Reporting any changes in health status via daily documentation Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with dementia or long-term care requirements. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Previous experience in caregiving at least two years Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial. Experience in dementia care or long-term care settings is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
