Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals lead fulfilling lives by promoting their independence and well-being.

Duties:

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support individuals in participating in community activities and social interactions
• Document and maintain accurate records of care provided
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers as needed
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with ADLs and providing personal care assistance
• Previous experience in childcare or related field is a plus
