Job Description
A warm and organized family in Forest Hills is seeking a well-seasoned, dedicated Household Manager to assist with the smooth operation of their home. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, emotionally intelligent, and trustworthy individual capable of managing a variety of household tasks, including vendor oversight, personal and household errands, household organization, light pet care, and transportation for an 11 year old child to and from school and extracurricular activities. The family has a full-time housekeeper and a chef that comes once a week. The House Manager will play a key role in ensuring the home runs efficiently and that the family’s day-to-day life is supported with care and professionalism. Hours are 10:30-6:30. Start date ASAP.

The household is gluten-free, and Principle B has a severe allergy to perfumes and fragrances. Candidates must be fragrance-free and willing to respect dietary sensitivities in the home. Schedule +
Compensation:
Monday-Friday 10:30-6:30 with flexibility. 95K per year + $250 health insurance stipend. 2 weeks PTO. 8 paid holidays. 5 sick days.

Vendor Oversight and Management:
Coordinate with and oversee household service providers, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks. Personal and Household Errands. Household Inventory and Stocking.
Household Organization:
Oversee the general organization of the home, ensuring everything is in its proper place. Over see Housekeeper Child Transportation to schools and extracurricular activities. Vehicle Registration and Management.
Pet Care:
Handle light pet care duties and appointments. General Household Tidiness.
Light Meal Prep:
Assist with basic meal preparation, following recipes when necessary to ensure meals are ready for the family. (not required but please note if this is something you don’t enjoy)
