Job Description
In Home Caregiver Confidential Thompsons Station, TN 37179 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individual in my home. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for her She needs assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to patient care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment while promoting independence. The home has a husband, wife, and 15 yr old daughter, and a yorkie named Chloe. Duties As an In Home Caregiver, some responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, and grooming. Providing meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met for family of 3. Client has colostomy and would need periodic changes throughout the day. Household duties include but not limited to, sweeping floors, vacuum, sinks and counters, laundry, and dishes. Administering enteral feedings and gravity fed water as necessary in client feeding tube and ensuring a safe environment. Supporting wheelchair client with mobility and transportation as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the home environment. Experience The ideal candidate should have: Previous experience in senior care or home community care preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and basic first aid skills. Familiarity with assisted living practices and meal preparation for specific dietary needs. A caring attitude towards patients, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families. Ability to work independently on small family household duties while being caregiver to stay at home mom with disabilities.
