The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including clinics, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health status. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home and to appointments. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and any concerns. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as a clinic, Level II Trauma Center, hospital medicine, or geriatrics is preferred. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is a plus. Experience working in pediatric intensive care units (PICU) or medical-surgical environments is advantageous. Knowledge of outpatient care procedures is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
