Family Services Case Aide – Conecuh Co Position Available In Conecuh, Alabama

This is a part-time, contract position, housed Conecuh County DHR. The Family Services Case Aide will perform services essential to strengthen the family’s ability to provide a safe, nurturing home environment for children in maintaining them in their own home or the home of a relative. Starting Pay Rate is $15.00 per hour. Mileage reimbursement will be $.70 cents per mile.

Work Schedule includes 20 hours per week with paid holidays. No paid benefits. Reliable automobile with liability insurance and a valid driver’s license required. The job will require the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet case needs, which may include evenings and weekends. The work week begins on Saturday at 12:01 AM. and ends on Friday night at midnight. Schedules involving weekend or evening work must flex the time within the same week. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM. to 4:30 PM.Job duties include but are not limited to arranging and supervising visits between children and their parents or relatives; assisting case workers arranging and providing needed services; providing parent education; conducting home visits; and/or providing other similar services as outlined in the family’s ISP. Job requiresa High School Diploma or GED equivalent and applicants to be 21 years of age. Computer skills, clearance of Child and Adult Abuse Neglect Registry, and a Criminal Background Check clearance are also required to apply.
