  • Other Opening Date 06/18/2025 Closing Date 6/25/2025 4:00 PM Central Campus Location Reid State Technical College Position Summary The WIOA Youth Case Manager will assist students with career assessment tools, career exploration activities, exposure to local businesses and industry environments, and college experiences, including applications, enrollment, and financial aid.

Grant-Funded (ACCS Board of Trustees Salary Schedule with a maximum of $45,196 annually). Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. This is a non-tenure track position; Non-Probationary Status cannot be obtained. The WIOA Youth Case Manager is directly responsible to the WIOA Youth Program Coordinator. Essential Duties and Responsibilities At a minimum, the major responsibilities of the WIOA Youth Case Manager shall include: 1. Assist the program coordinator in managing program activities such as: Represent the organization and the program to the community, volunteers, and other external constituencies; Participate in outreach activities that may include communications, events, training, and Conferences; Regularly travel to perform case management, job development, and other duties, with occasional travel outside of the county for trainings, conferences, and events; and Perform any other program, organizational, administrative, or occupational duties as deemed necessary. Help create a resource library of information on education and training programs, internships, and other post-program opportunities for participants; Meet with participants at regular intervals to learn about their job and career goals, or immediate needs; Assist the program Coordinator in identifying and scheduling career-related guest speakers, site visits, job shadow experiences, and informational interviews; Plan and facilitate job search skills development opportunities, including interviewing, resume preparation, and other skills 2. Schedule participant participation in program activities. 3. Conduct participant intakes and assessments; 4. Develop and manage individual participant development plans; 5. Connect and coordinate wrap-around services to meet student needs; 6. Provide direct student support via regular one-on-one meetings; and 7. Provide monthly participant progress updates for the Program Coordinator. 8. Assist in maintaining work-based training schedules, records, and time-sheets. 9. Maintain participant records. 10. Perform program and participant data entry. 11. Meet with participants to maintain participation and training progression. 12. Maintain office supplies and equipment. 13. Assist in providing all required documentation in a timely manner, which may include participant follow-up, outcome evaluation, client contact sheets, and evaluations. 14. Assist in conducting individualized mentoring sessions. 15. Conduct participant TABE assessment. 16. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 17. Excellent communication and writing skills. 18. Activity participates in division/college committees and campus activities. 19. Demonstrates ethical behavior, loyalty, honesty, and integrity, both on and off campus. 20. Participates in staff, division, and committee meetings as assigned. 21. Other duties as assigned by the President, Director of Adult Education, and WIOA Youth Program Coordinator. Qualifications Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited institution. At least one year full/part-time work experience is required. Effective oral and written communication skills are required. Experience in the following areas preferred: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel and PowerPoint.
