Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30

PM About Us:

A local family services-oriented agency that provides subsidized child care assistance to low to moderate-income families is seeking a Case Worker to join their team. This organization is committed to helping families access affordable child care through funds allocated by the State of Alabama’s Department of Human Resources (DHR) Child Care Subsidized Services Division. We are seeking two dedicated and organized Caseworkers to join their team and support their mission.

Job Responsibilities:

Process applicants and determine eligibility for child care assistance. Update case records and ensure all information is accurate and current. Maintain waiting list records and ensure they are updated as needed. Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive and personal information. Provide exceptional customer service to applicants and other stakeholders. Communicate effectively with applicants, staff, and partners, both verbally and in writing. Perform other administrative and clerical duties as required.

Qualifications:

3+ years of clerical/receptionist or administrative experience, with a strong background in customer service. Case Management experience is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience working with nonprofit organizations or in a child care-related field is a plus. Proficient with computers and office software. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Clean Background Check required.
